"Highly recommend The Caboose!! I didnt catch our waiter/bartenders name- he was young, had the BEST personality for the job and checked in every so often! Very polite and friendly! Crabcakes were some of the best Ive ever had! Portions were perfect, steak was wonderful according to Jack. The salad was the most crisp and fresh we have had in a long time, the chickpeas made it even better! Everything was amazing, down to the cleanliness and service!"

"Atmosphere - 4 out of 5 This local Italian restaurant is housed in what looks like a historic building, giving it an old-school, vintage charm. The interior features wooden floors, high ceilings, and unique character throughout. There's both indoor and some outdoor seating available. One of the standout features is the bar area, which is stylish yet cozy. The bar front is adorned with ornate metallic designs that give it a vintage, almost Victorian vibe. Crystal chandeliers hang overhead, adding a bit of elegance, while warm lighting and seasonal touches make it feel welcoming. It's the kind of bar that really adds to the overall charm of the place. Service - 3 out of 5 Our waiter was fine--nothing bad, just didn't stand out. He got the job done, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable or engaging about the service. It was average, not great, not terrible. Food - 3 out of 5 I ordered the Giovanni sandwich, an Italian-style sandwich with hot peppers, sauce, and cheese, served with what appeared to be homemade chips. The sandwich was okay--not bad, just not anything that wowed me. We also tried the grilled chicken salad, which included fries in the salad. Unfortunately, this one was a letdown. The chicken was a bit bland and came out cold, and the fries were sparse--only about four or five total. For the price, it felt underwhelming. I've definitely had better grilled chicken salads elsewhere. They do have a broader menu with pizzas, appetizers, and more Italian dishes, so maybe there's better luck with those. But based on what we had, the food was just average. Overall - 3 out of 5 If half-stars were an option, I'd probably give this place a 3.5. The atmosphere and bar are impressive and give the restaurant a lot of character. But the food and service just didn't fully deliver this time. Maybe it was an off day--I'd be open to giving it another shot in the future."

"This is a bar and restaurant. Nicely decorated. The restaurant is very clean, the food flavorful, the portions are on the large side. I had the chicken parmigian. I had plenty to take home. Comes with spaghetti or you can choose another kind of pasta. The marinara sauce was not sweet ( which was a pleasant surprise)but rich and very tasty. This is a good place to visit and since it was our first time, we'll be back!"

"The food was great! We were a group of 12. Our server was awesome. The response time between when the food was ordered and when it arrived was good. There were no issues with our food orders. If you've never been there, make the effort."

"A nice Italian restaurant. A variety of menu options including Pasta, Burgers and house entrees. I had the Caboose burger, which was delicious. The meat was tender and tasty. The house salad was good with chick peas and olives. The prices were reasonably good comparatively to other sit-down establishments. We will definitely stop again when we're in the neighborhood."

"My husband and I love finding local places to eat. The picture of this place, when you pull it up on Google, does not do it justice. It's quite a cute place indoors and out. Has a little prohibition vibe going with the old pictures on the walls and under the glass top tables. I wouldn't call it an Italian restaurant. It certainly serves Italian, but there are many other things you can eat here. The food was delicious and homemade, I think it was homemade. I hope so because it was marvelous I would have liked to have seen more items in the house salad such as cucumbers, more grape tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, or carrots as it was fairly sparse. The bruschetta cheese dip appetizer was great tasting and filling served with crostini. The spaghetti and meatballs and the stuffed sachettes with 6 different cheese and grilled chicken were the bomb. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return."
